How many times can you use a safety razor blade?
This depends on various factors such as the type of hair, how often you shave, coating of the blades, and yes also your shaving technique. Hardened blades of for example platinum or chromium, ensure that the blades last longer. Our blades are platinum hardened. Depending on these factors, a blade lasts about 3-6 shaves.
How do you use the safety razor?
- Make your skin soft by rinsing your face with warm water or running a warm, damp towel over your face.
- Apply your favorite shaving gel, shaving cream or shaving foam to your face using your hands or a shaving brush.
- Prepare a bowl of warm water to clean your razor. Removing remaining hairs between the razor will ensure an optimal result.
- Time to shave. Hold the razor at about a 30 degree angle to the top of your cheek. Then shave in a straight line with the grain, this prevents ingrown hairs.
- After shaving it is important to close the pores. This is best done with a cold damp towel. Try to pat rather than rub to avoid irritation.
- To ensure a long life for your razor, it is important to clean the razor thoroughly and let it dry completely between shaves.
