Hanging lamp HOOK'd

The Story

HOOK'd is a lamp with a long story. In short: millions of specific hooks are thrown away by the industry every year. These hooks were used in a powder coating plant, such as our partner Bruynzeel Storage Systems . Unfortunately, they can only be used once. The original copper and brass hooks get a typical color gradient due to the color that is currently used in the coating plant and the automatic powder coating robot. The Hook'd is therefore available in black and white.

Tolhuijs Design collects these brackets and has them assembled into lamps in a social workshop. With our self-developed stacking system, the lamps are transported to our warehouse where they are packed by another social workshop and sent to the customer. Dutch design with a long story!
