The Story
The upcycle floor lamp SPOOL was once part of a welding machine. Welding wire was originally wound around the coil. When the welding wire is used up, the coil is usually thrown away. Tolhuijs gives the coil a second life and changes this waste product into a sustainable design lamp.
The SPOOL floor lamp is truly sustainable and social Dutch design. Both the obtaining of the raw material and the production are on home soil.
The SPOOL Deluxe Brass floor lamp is available in a white or black coil, fitted with brass welding wire.
